There are three things that are certain in life; death, taxes and Oliver James turning up for their shift. We used this company for 6+ years for my mother’s garden and sadly had to say goodbye to them when her property was recently sold. Whether it was -2C or 38C, these guys would turn up and work really really hard. They came with a plan of what they want to achieve but adapted and were flexible if we had any particular tasks in mind. I would not hesitate in strongly recommending this company to others. Oliver James Landscapes have been totally reliable. Their work is very neat and they tidied up afterwards. They listened to what I wanted and really thought about what would be best for my garden. The finished result exceeded my expectations. For example, the trellis they installed is very attractive and the way they propped up soil (on a higher level) is neat and effective. It is obvious that they take pride in their work. I also liked the fact that James and Oliver were cheerful, friendly and approachable. (I sometimes heard their cheerful laughter, while they were working!)

Oliver James Landscapes completed a difficult job replacing a bamboo sleeper bed which was adjacent to our neighbour's boundary. Quote and then work completed on time, in full and to a very high standard. James and team are hugely knowledgeable, deliver excellent workmanship and are highly professional.

We recently had landscape work which included a whole new lawn laid by Oliver James Landscapes the outcome of which was excellent. Throughout the project we have had the perfect experience owing to the the professional, courteous and friendly approach from the whole crew. The standard of works is exceptional resulting in the finish we had dreamt of. The initial site survey and discussions to provide the outcome we required was extremely enlightening for us because we were provided professional and experienced advice during the design process. The whole team were extremely knowledgeable in this field (excuse the pun) which also contributed to it’s the success. Aftercare has been excellent which included site visits and further advice when needed. The quote we received was very fair considering the high standard of finish that the Team presented. So overall, would I use Oliver James Landscapes again; well, that is a resounding Yes!
